This video shows me removing a "in sink erator" brand instant hot water dispenser. At the time, I didn't know I wasn't going to replace it, but I called the company, and they didn't offer any apology or consideration for getting me to buy another one of their products. I expect that a product like this should last longer than 4 1/2 years. Maybe I'm too demanding, but that's what I think. I expect a higher quality product. This reminds me of 70's "planned obsolescence", and I don't think I'll buy any more products from this company unless there's no other choice. It would have been different if they would have said "sorry, that plastic tank model doesn't last very long, we'll give you a discount on the improved model", but the rep I talked with said there was no way to offer any consideration whatsoever on this (what I consider to be a) quality problem.
